and attractive clubhouses within easy reach. Some have driving ranges and
practice putting greens for warming up. For the dedicated golfer, or
for those who simply enjoy the exquisite scenery and peaceful surroundings,
homes are available abutting the rolling fairways.
Hunters will find the many forest adjoining Lake Gaston abundant with all
types of game. This is a hunter's paradise for deer, duck, geese, turkey,
dove, quail, rabbit and squirrel. The season generally lasts from October
